Hey, I found a small error I thought you might want to be aware of.
The simulation somehow reported a case where Pittsburgh lost all 3 games in regulation but still won the President’s Trophy. This is of course impossible since they are 3 points back of Chicago.

While I’ve got you, twenty thousand fellow human beings visited Sports Club Stats yesterday (the most ever). Thanks.

Starting with the 2008-2009 (?) season they added the stipulation that when reseeding the top 4, a division winner always takes precedence over the wildcard with the same record. I don’t do this. And it affects the current standings.

Jeremy Halperin pointed this out today (thanks Jeremy). I’m working on fixing it, more to follow.
Update:  I believe it is fixed.
